What is the difference between the Original Foam Pillow & Down Alternative Pillow

Great question! Our Original Foam Pillow is made using our proprietary Tuft & Needle Adaptive® Foam that is infused with graphite and cooling gel so that no matter which side you are sleeping on, it's cool on your cheek. It is a solid 5" thick piece of our Adaptive Foam designed to feel medium-firm and comes with a removable and washable cover. 

Our Down Alternative Pillow is also designed to feel medium-firm but instead of foam, we use a polyester fill. The Down Alternative Pillow has a cambric cotton encasement, grey piping, and comes in a set of two. A great feature of this pillow is that the whole thing is washable!
