Why does my mattress feel softer than it did when I first received it?
If you feel like your mattress is feeling a little softer where you sleep, you’re in the norm!
Like your favorite spot on the couch, it’s normal for the mattress to feel a little softer or more broken in over time. Similarly, depending on where in the bed you sleep each night, it’s normal for the areas where you sleep regularly to be more broken in than parts of the bed that get less use.
One thing you can do moving forward is to rotate the mattress head to foot every six months or so, allowing the mattress to break in more evenly as time goes on.
