What do I do with my old mattress?

Once your Tuft & Needle mattress arrives, we suggest donating your old mattress to an organization such as Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity, or St. Vincent de Paul. Local churches, community centers, and homeless shelters are also great options!

To donate used mattresses, they typically need to be free from rips, tears, and stains. You may be able to utilize a recycling service in your area to remove your old mattress for a small fee if a charity won't accept the donation.

For customers shipping your new mattress to California, we do offer free removal of your old mattress through our partners at Dimension. Generally, they'll reach out to you via email within a week to schedule.
